First Group Tutorial

I am in a tutorial group with Ceri (Jade, Sherwyn, Lulu). We met for our first session to talk about our initial ideas and research for our projects. 

I brought in my zombie illustrations so that I could get across that I wish to do a project on horror comics, ideally involving zombies. This brought up the subject of narrative and story creation, which I am not too strong at, so Ceri gave me some ideas on how to start 'stretching that muscle'. 

• Splitting up the elements of a story (Characters, settings, tone, time, atmosphere)
• Creating three panel thumbnail sketches, the idea being that you have a beginning, middle and end
• Writing down ideas of what could happen, eg if a zombie was in a mall, a zombie was in a circus, a zombie came out of the ground
• Do thumbnail sketches while walking movies (zombie movies?)

I plan to start with the 3 panel thumbnails as that is a quite way to get started on visual ideas.
